Building Inclusive Organizations

In today’s knowledge-based economy, your organization is only as valuable as the leaders you have inside it. To succeed in the competitive global marketplace, companies need to attract and retain diverse talent, and then create a culture that supports their success and the success of the business.

Our next Senior Executive Roundtable addresses a topic vital to values-driven leadership: building inclusive organizations. Under the guidance of one of the world’s leading thinkers on diversity and inclusion in business, Dr. Stefanie Johnson, and with examples and panelists drawn from leading global companies, we’ll dig into the mindset and strategies that make it possible to leverage inclusion as an asset. The journey begins with senior leadership, as we ask how we can shift our thinking and behavior to make inclusion a priority. From there, we turn to organizational practices that remove barriers, create opportunity, and enable people and organizations to thrive.

The Center for Values-Driven Leadership’s roundtables offer a world-class learning environment where senior executives can roll-up their sleeves to explore an aspect of values-driven leadership in the company of their peers. Join us on Friday, April 5, for this exceptional event:

She was invited to present her work at the White House for a 2016 summit on diversity in corporate America, and at the 2016 Harvard Negotiation & Leadership Conference, as well as at 50 other corporate and academic events. Dr. Johnson applies her insight through consulting with firms of all sizes, focusing on evidence-based leadership development training. About the Senior Executive Roundtables

The Senior Executive Roundtables are an ongoing series designed to inform and inspire senior executives who are committed to leading at the intersection of ethics, sustainability and business results.

These invitation-only events are for senior executives – Presidents, CEOs, C-level Executives, and others – who are committed to strategic, values-driven leadership. They are ‘roll-up your sleeves’ learning experiences that utilize a dynamic mix of presentation and interaction, giving you and your senior team a new perspective on the leadership and direction of your company.

Bring Your
Leadership Team

The CVDL’s Roundtables are specifically designed to accommodate leadership teams. By bringing your senior team, your organization will:

  • Gain access to top name thinkers and authors at a fraction of the cost of hosting the speaker on your own;
  • Start conversations and spark innovation organization-wide;
  • Quickly identify transferable concepts and leave the Roundtable with action steps in place;
  • Meet and exchange ideas with executives from other companies while still having time for deep-diving into valuable conversations with your team.
“Bringing my leadership team to the Roundtable was like a one-day intensive retreat: we left with new ideas we were ready to implement as a team.”

– Jeff Swallow, CEO, Magnetrol
