The last week has most Midwest residents scanning Florida and Arizona real estate sites in our free time. Snowfalls measured in feet instead of inches and temperatures that all have a “negative” in front of them have made for a slow start to the work week.

In such inclement weather, many businesses struggle to know how to manage operations while still providing for the safety and comfort of their employees. CEO Andy Studdert of NES Rentals faced the same questions a few years ago, when a bad snowstorm left his receptionist with a 4-hour commute.
